A Pool & Spa Depot designer works with you in-store or on-site to create a pool that fits your terrain. Choose a free in-store design or a 3D design for a small fee, and finalize any extra features to make your pool uniquely yours.
2 . Site Prep
Once the install agreement is signed and your deposit secured, excavation begins. The area is carefully marked to avoid underground utilities, and grading is double-checked so construction proceeds smoothly.
3 . Structure Setup
Steel panels are assembled around the pool perimeter, supported with bracing and deck supports. Our licensed plumber installs all plumbing lines, and a concrete footer is poured to secure the structure.
4 . Interior Finish & Liner
We apply our exclusive pool bottom material, a durable mix of sand, cement, and vermiculite. A vinyl liner of your choice is installed and fitted, creating a smooth, finished surface.
5 . Electrical & Final Connections
Our licensed electrician completes all electrical connections, ensuring lights, pumps, and other features are fully functional. The pool is then filled with water!
6 . Final Steps
Yard grading is completed, debris is cleared, and your backyard is ready for summer. Then, Pool & Spa Depot guides you through Pool School—either at your home or at your nearest retail location—to teach proper care and maintenance.
